Samsung could soon launch the Galaxy A25 5G to replace the Galaxy A24. The design and specifications of the Galaxy A25 5G have been leaked for the past few months, and now the full specification list of the smartphone has been revealed in a new report. The biggest improvements are due to part of the processor and one of the rear cameras.

Galaxy A25 5G specifications revealed

According to a report by Appuals, the Galaxy A25 5G will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch U-shaped notch display with Full HD+ resolution, similar to its predecessor. While the display type hasn’t been revealed, it’s likely to be a 90Hz (or better) OLED unit similar to the Galaxy A24. Apparently, this phone has a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone could have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

According to reports, Samsung has used the Exynos 1280 processor in the Galaxy A25 5G. The phone will replace the MediaTek Helio G99 that is used in the Galaxy A24. The new 5nm chip brings 5G connectivity to the smartphone. It has two Cortex-A78 CPU cores with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores with a frequency of 2 GHz. This chip will be paired with 6.8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. It will also have a microSD card slot for increased storage space. The phone will likely run One UI 6.0 based on Android 14 out of the box.

The Galaxy A25 5G is likely to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that is compatible with 25W fast charging. The report claims that the Galaxy A25 5G will be available in four colors: Black, Blue, Silver and Yellow. The price of both storage versions of this phone will be between 300 and 400 euros.
