Galaxy S23 series RAM and internal memory configuration revealed

While a rumor in the past said that Samsung will abandon the 128 GB version for the next generation of its flagships, a new rumor says that this version will not be completely removed from the Samsung product portfolio, but users in a few countries will get access to the 128 GB version of the Galaxy S23 series.
The amount of RAM and internal memory of the Galaxy S23 series
according to a tweet Published by a source named Ahmed Qwaider, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will be launched in the following two versions in terms of RAM and internal storage:
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB internal memory
- 8 GB RAM + 512 GB internal memory
In terms of RAM and internal memory, Galaxy S23 Ultra is available to users in the following four configurations:
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB internal memory
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB internal memory
- 12 GB RAM + 512 GB internal memory
- 12 GB of RAM + 1 TB of internal memory
In general, according to the claim of this source, Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will be available in versions equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, and the original version of Galaxy S23 Ultra will have 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
Despite that, Samsung isn’t completely saying goodbye to the 128GB version. Apparently, the 128GB version of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will be available in some markets. However, users in most countries will get access to the 256 GB version as the base version.
Although the configuration of RAM and internal memory of the Galaxy S23 series may not change compared to its previous generation, Samsung increases the speed of both of them. The new Korean flagships will be equipped with LPDDR5X RAM, which is 50% faster than the RAM of the Galaxy S22 series.
In addition, Samsung uses UFS 4.0 internal memory for Galaxy S23 family phones with sequential read and write speeds of 4200 and 2800 MB/s, which is twice the speed of the current generation. The Galaxy S23 series will be introduced on February 12.
