Galaxy S24 Ultra camera specifications revealed
Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S24 series at the end of December, but now we see the disclosure of the camera specifications of the most powerful member of this family. Possible specifications of the Galaxy S24 Ultra camera
According to a Korean media report The Elec, Samsung will still use the 200-megapixel primary camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. We should also expect a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
According to today’s report, the main sensor will be Samsung’s own. The 12MP ultra-wide camera will be supplied by Sunny Optical and Namuga. The 10-megapixel telephoto camera is manufactured by Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Sunny Optical. The same companies also make the 50 megapixel telephoto camera. Finally, the 12-megapixel selfie camera will be provided by Namuga and MCNEX.
Considering the specs, we probably shouldn’t expect much improvement in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera performance. Of course, on the other hand, Samsung’s focus on artificial intelligence has been mentioned; Therefore, the software can play a vital role in the performance quality of the future Korean flagship camera.
Although the quality of Samsung’s camera sensors has improved significantly in recent years, several 2024 Android flagships will be equipped with Sony’s latest camera sensor, the LYT-900, which is of high quality.
Like the current generation, Galaxy S24 series phones will be launched in three models: Standard, Plus and Ultra models. While the rumors are announcing the release of standard and plus versions with Snapdragon 8 generation 3 and Exynos 2400 chips, it is said that the Ultra model will only be sold in the version equipped with Snapdragon 8 generation 3.
