Galaxy XCover 7 and Galaxy Tab Active 5 with high durability were introduced
While everyone is waiting for the Galaxy S24 series, today Samsung unveiled two tough devices. The Galaxy XCover 7 and Galaxy Tab Active 5 are designed for people who work in harsh environments and can’t deal with delicate and fragile devices.
The new Samsung phone and tablet come with Android 14, 5G communication, NFC technology and a dedicated button that can be adjusted to help the user in difficult situations.
Galaxy XCover 7 specifications
The Galaxy X Cover 7 has a 6.6-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, and its sensitivity has been increased to work with gloves up to 2 mm thick and in wet environments. Samsung hasn’t announced exactly what kind of chip this phone has, but it’s said to be a 6nm chipset with an octa-core processor.
There is only one 50 megapixel camera on the back of this mobile phone and a 5 megapixel camera on the front. The XCover 7 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, but you can expand this capacity with a microSD card. Other features of this phone include headphone jack and Dolby Atmos sound.
Galaxy XCover7 uses MIL-STD-810H and IP68 standards, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus Plus. The phone is powered by a 4050 mAh battery that is replaceable.
Specifications of Galaxy Tab Active 5
Samsung’s rugged tablet has an 8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and improved sensitivity. This device has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Galaxy Tab Active 5 uses an unknown 5nm chip.
This tablet comes in two configurations with 6 + 128 GB or 8 + 256 GB of RAM and internal memory. With a microSD card, you can increase the capacity of the internal space up to 1 TB. Galaxy Tab Active5 has IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards and supports S Pen. The screen of this tablet is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The Samsung tablet has physical buttons and a fingerprint sensor is installed under the home button. The device also has a 5050 mAh battery which is replaceable.
