Galaxy Z Fold 5 was shown in new renders

Samsung is likely to unveil its new generation of foldable phones earlier this year than in previous years, and now we see the release of renderings of one of these phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The new renders show Samsung’s upcoming phone from different angles.

While the design of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone will not change much, the hinge mechanism will be different and we will probably be facing a drop-shaped hinge. This new hinge reduces the folding of the screen when open and the distance between the screens when closed.

The source of the new renders claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 measures 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3 mm when open, and 154.9 x 67.1 x 13.5 mm when closed. Thanks to the new hinge, the device is thinner when closed than the Galaxy Z Fold 4 at 14.2mm to 15.8mm.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 is equipped with a 7.6-inch internal display and a 6.2-inch external display, which, although their dimensions are not different from the previous generation, but due to the reduction of the overall size, we face fewer borders around them.
