Gaming performance of RTX 3080 Ti laptop – 40% better than RTX 2080 SUPER

HardwareCanucks Has released a new video that shows the gaming performance of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop as the future flagship with Ampere architecture. It has also been announced that notebooks with RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti will be available today.
Of course, HC Video is not a review and is sponsored by Nvidia. Although the tests were performed by HC, they still cannot be viewed as an independent review.
HardwareCanucks offers 1440p gaming benchmarks from Watch Dogs, Metro Exodus, Doom: Eternal, and COD Vanguard. These games have also been tested with DLSS and Ray Tracing to show the full potential of Ampere architecture. HC apparently did not allow the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to be compared to the RTX 30 series, and instead we see the RTX 2080 SUPER as the previous generation mobile flagship.

On average, the RTX 3080 Ti is up to 40% faster at 1440p than the 2080S with high performance. These results belong to the Razer Blade 17 and Blade 17 Pro laptops. By activating the beam interception, we see an increase of up to 81%, but DLSS causes a difference of 63%.

The RTX 3080 Mobile uses the GA104 chip, which offers a maximum of 6,144 cores. The RTX 3080 Ti, however, uses a new graphics processor called the GA103S, which is a proprietary version for laptops. This graphic uses 7424 CUDA cores and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory along with 256-bit bus.
