Gantz’s claim: We will not allow our military balance to be upset with Hezbollah

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, Israeli War Minister Bani Gantz today (Tuesday) reiterated the accusations of sending weapons to regional resistance groups, including the Lebanese Hezbollah movement.

Gantz claimed at the inauguration of the Raphael Advanced Military Industries plant in Shalumi that Tel Aviv would not allow the presence of weapons that upset the balance of power with Hezbollah or other resistance groups in the region.

According to Zionist media, he expressed concern about the arrival of weapons that upset the balance of power between Israel and resistance groups in West Asia, claiming that these weapons would harm the region, but that Tel Aviv would not allow this to happen.

“Last year, we carried out covert campaigns and operations throughout the Middle East and continued to take action against our enemies,” said Avio Kukhawi, chief of staff of the Israeli army.

According to the website «Times of Israel“The Israeli army will continue to work to address the threats and respond vigorously to any violation of sovereignty, whether in the Gaza Strip or the north, either by Iranian or Palestinian forces,” Kukhawi continued.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett once again called Iran an existential threat to the regime and claimed that Israel would do whatever it took to protect itself against it. (More details)

In recent months, Israeli officials have stepped up efforts to disrupt the Vienna talks on reviving the IAEA, and are using every platform to create space against Iran’s nuclear program. Earlier in the day, Bennett met with the Swiss president, who is a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s governing council, and called on him to take decisive action against Iran’s nuclear program.

Western countries, led by the United States and the Zionist regime, have in recent years accused Iran of pursuing military goals in its nuclear program. Iran has strongly denied these allegations. Iran emphasizes that as a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency, it has the right to acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
