Gas reaches Zabul / The longest horizontal offshore drilling in the Middle East begins next month

According to IRNA, “Reza Noshadi” today (Sunday) in a press conference, noting that the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company has no semi-finished projects and this issue is unique among state-owned companies, added: “The longest until next month Horizontal offshore drilling in the Middle East from Laft port to Qeshm Island will be started by this company.

He emphasized that according to the naming of the year by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution as the year of “knowledge-based production, employment-creating”: 2 important steps have been taken in the Gas Engineering and Development Company in the field of knowledge-based development.

Noshadi continued: Siemens canceled a $ 1 billion contract to sell 100 turbines under the pretext of sanctions.

According to Noshadi, the compressors we contracted with Siemens were 80 percent efficient, but today the in-house compressors are 93 percent efficient.

He pointed out that all the compressors of this company, which will be installed in 1402, will have an efficiency of at least 89%.

The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company continued: “We have also created a set of project and design management software in the company, which is in its final stages to be a pioneer in terms of performance transparency.”

In response to IRNA about active gas engineering and development projects, he said: “Currently, there are 211 active contracts in this company.”

Noshadi added: “In storage, the total number of projects we have is estimated at $ 5.4 billion.” There are also two $ 2 billion contracts to build a turbocharger in the company.

He stressed: $ 3.2 billion is estimated for the development of gas storage in Shurijeh.

The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company estimated the daily turnover of the company at 500 million Euros and said: “This turnover will increase with the start of storage projects.”

In response to another IRNA question about the latest status of projects in Sistan and Baluchestan province, he added: “This year in the Gas Engineering and Development Company is named the year of Sistan and Baluchestan and gas injection has started from Zahedan to Dashtak and from Dashtak to Zabol.” In the continuation, gas supply to the city and industries will be followed in gas supply management.

According to Noshadi, in the gas engineering and development complex, the last gas injection station in Zabul was activated and the gas reached Zabol.

He continued: “We have 4 large areas from Iranshahr to Chabahar, the tests of which have started, we are trying to deliver the whole route at the end of spring.”

The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company, noting that some miscreants in Sistan and Baluchestan did not want services to be provided to this province, said: “Despite the insecurity of work space, the seventh national line has been implemented and industries and cities of Hormozgan and Sistan and Baluchestan They benefited from the blessings of gas.

He said that one of the energy carriers is usually delivered to any geographical area in the world, adding: “However, the Islamic Republic of Iran has delivered electricity and gas to all parts of the country at the same time.”

In response to another question from IRNA regarding the latest situation of gas supply to Qeshm Island, Noshadi said: “Currently, one thousand megawatts of power plants are waiting for gas to enter Qeshm and part of this gas will be exported.”

Emphasizing that the distance from the mainland to Qeshm Island is 3.5 km, he continued: The gas pipeline to Qeshm Island will be constructed from below the sea in the form of horizontal drilling.

The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company, pointing out that this drilling is the longest horizontal drilling in the Middle East, added: “Drilling will be done from both sides and will start next month.” This is the first time in the country that drilling is done from both sides.

According to Noshadi, 85% of the equipment needed for gas engineering and development in the country has been localized.

He said: “The financial statements of 99 state-owned companies have been published in Kadal, according to which it seems that the Gas Engineering and Development Company is loss-making, but it is clear from the financial statements that we should see this company in the National Gas Company.” Examine the financial statements.

Noshadi added: “Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company implements the projects required by the National Iranian Gas Company and provides them to other companies under the gas complex for operation, so it is not logical to evaluate the profit and loss for that company alone.”

He emphasized: in contracts such as buyback or reciprocal sale, the cost of project implementation was 10%, but in engineering and gas development, the project implementation price is 1.5 to 2.5% and we are ready to be a contractor for other parts of the government.
