According to the Arya Heritage report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of South Khorasan, Alireza Abbaszadeh stated this in the conference of mayors of the province, which was held under the urban affairs committee of the executive headquarters of travel services on Sunday, March 7, 1401. The deputy coordinator of civil affairs of South Khorasan Governor added: Despite all the world’s efforts to prevent the celebration of the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution this year, but with the efforts of the people and God’s will, we have passed 6 difficult months in a completely unequal attack and an extraordinarily special combined war.

Abbaszadeh said: November 13 this year had no example and the enemies should have understood what it would be like on Bahman 22, so an epic unfolded which is unprecedented in the past 44 years and we did not even imagine such a presence.

He stated: Psychological pressures have been imposed on the people, but they were overcome with the efforts of everyone during this period, and on the 22nd of Bahman, there was a blue avalanche on the fire of Eandan.

Abbaszadeh said: Now, on the eve of Nowruz, there is a heavy duty on the shoulders of the executive bodies and managers because the people deserve to serve without hesitation, and the example of serving these history-making people and nation who stand by their system is more special to see the headquarters of Nowruz trips.

He added: We should not make any discrimination in providing services so that a reflection of national unity can be shown to the world.

The deputy civil governor said: People anticipate national celebrations on the pretext of the beginning of the new year, so the necessary conditions must be prepared so that people feel happy and relaxed in the best way.

He emphasized: If we pool our capacities with all our strength, we can reduce the number of road accidents and fatalities in the upcoming Nowruz.

Abbaszadeh emphasized that, unfortunately, the number of deaths caused by road accidents in the province is higher than in the country and noted: the condition of the roads and the climate of the region, as well as innumerable traffic, are also effective in the occurrence of these accidents.

Abbaszadeh stated: Although the people must follow the principles of safety and driving, we must use every capacity to reduce the number of accidents, and based on the statistics provided, the number of accidents in the city, especially in the center of the province, is alarming and requires special measures.

The deputy governor emphasized on the provision of outstanding services in Nowruz 1402 and said: People should achieve relative peace during the travel season and providing the necessary conditions is one of the duties of officials in various departments.

He added: It is important to create passion and excitement in all cities, especially cities where travelers pass, so changing the image and urban landscape is emphasized and urban services should be increased.

Abbaszadeh announced the formation of the travel service headquarters and 12 relevant committees in the province and said: Municipalities play an important role in this because cities are the population center of every region.

Stating that the purpose of travelers’ stay is mainly cities, he clarified: 31 cities of South Khorasan should provide special Nowruz programs to accept travelers so that we can use all capacities with cooperation and synergy and have good trips for people.

The deputy governor of South Khorasan continued: Nowruz belongs to all people and is part of the general culture of the country, so both cities and villages are involved in Nowruz programs.

He said: Mayors and members of city councils should creatively present plans so that new and attractive events can take place and satisfy the people.

Abbaszadeh added: Some works do not require large funds, but creativity, use of new thinking and experiences of other cities can lead to new actions.

Hadi Shahvardi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of South Khorasan, also said in this meeting: This year, 400 historical monuments of the province are expected to be visited by tourists, and it is planned to launch 58 handicraft bazaars with about 583 stalls for Nowruz 1402.

This meeting was held with the presence of three general managers of the province (general managers of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts, road and urban development and public libraries institution), the mayors of the province discussed issues, problems and suggestions regarding issues related to each of the sub-departments.
