George Clooney and Adam Sandler in a Netflix/Noah Bambuck movie

George Clooney and Adam Sandler star in a new movie that Noah Baumbach is making for Netflix.

Charso Press: According to Variety, George Clooney and Adam Sandler will be in front of the camera together in an as-yet-untitled Noah Baumbach film for Netflix.

Bambuck wrote the screenplay for this movie in collaboration with Emily Mortimer, the creator of the “Doll and Me” series. He, who has an exclusive contract with Netflix, previously produced “The Meyerowitz Stories” starring Sandler and directed “Marriage Story” starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson, which received an Oscar nomination for best picture. “Snow White” is one of his other films, which was adapted from a novel by Dan DeLillo and starred Driver and Greta Gerwig.

Bambak’s new film is described as a funny and emotional story about adults.

Clooney recently directed Boat Boys, starring Joel Edgerton and Calum Turner, which opens in theaters on December 25. He starred with Brad Pitt and Amy Adams in the film “Wolves” directed by John Watts for Apple, which is scheduled to be released in 2024.

This is Clooney’s first directorial collaboration with Baumback, although the filmmaker wrote the screenplay for Wes Anderson’s The Amazing Mr. Fox, which Clooney voiced.

Sandler and Netflix have a long-standing relationship, and he most recently provided the voice for the animated film Leo, and starred in You’re Too Uninvited to My Party and Murder Mystery 2.

Earlier it was said that Brad Pitt and Sandler will act together in a film for Netflix.
