Ghosoun al-Madi, a Syrian female filmmaker: Ithar Film Festival is a great opportunity for the resistance front’s filmmakers to participate.

According to Fars news agency, Mrs. Ghasoun Al-Madi; The Syrian filmmaker, who is present in the international cinema competition section of this festival with two documentaries: In the presence of humanity and Sabr Jameel, said about the reason for his presence in this arena: I come from a country that has experienced ten years of war, and my presence in the fronts of The war became the basis for making Mujahidan Islam films.
He expressed: The fighters carried two weapons during their selfless presence in the fronts; One is their weapon of war and the other is the weapon of jihad and martyrdom and faith in the homeland; They were competing to go to the front lines, as if they were eager to enter heaven. There is no family in Syria that has not sacrificed martyrs and wounded to the war, and if it were not for them, we would not be here now.
Ghassoun Al-Mazi stated: In addition to the war of bombing and missiles, we witnessed a soft war of the media, the consequences of which are nothing but the remains of a burnt land from which films and documentaries can be made to be presented to the world.
This Syrian filmmaker said: We are trying with all our capacity to convey the events and facts that the world’s media showed upside down, and the first international sacrifice festival is an opportunity for Islamic countries and the resistance front to convey and display these events.
Ghassoun Al-Madi said: When I was making the movie of martyr Qassem Soleimani, I was conducting interviews with characters who were close to him, and I heard amazing things that said that this character had divine attributes and the great ones of history. The important thing I learned in Syria was that Haj Qassem Soleimani was not only a great tactical commander; Rather, he was a teacher of ethics, religion and spirituality. In Syria, everyone knows Hajj Qassem Soleimani, and those who were with Hajj Qassem Soleimani, said that wherever he was present, victory was certain and everyone missed his position.
This Syrian filmmaker pointed out: My only wish and goal for making this film is that young people get to know the school of Haj Qassem Soleimani and look at him as a role model.
I have to say; Sabr Jameel’s documentary film will be released on Sunday, May 31 at 3:00 p.m., and the filmmaker’s film in the presence of humanity will be released on Tuesday, June 2 at 3:00 p.m.
The first international film and screenplay festival of sacrifice will be held until the second of Khordad under the direction of Farhad Mokhtari at Mehr Koh Sangi Cinema Campus in Mashhad.
