According to the Mehr news agency, “Gil Dokht” is the title of a historical series that is produced in news silence and now, for the first time, the end of filming is announced. “Gil Dokht” is directed by Majid Ismaili and produced by Mohammad Reza Shafiei, and its pre-production has started since the beginning of 1998. This series has been aired since the middle of the same year in Gilan province, which will be ready for broadcast after about 2 years of filming.

The author of this 65-episode series is Majid Asodegan, who has taken about 5 years to write the script. Among the works of this author, we can mention the series “Flower Tent” and “The Way and the Way”.
