Global and export-oriented production to achieve 8% growth in the economy / the need to pay attention to priority studies

According to IRNA, from the Business Studies and Research Institute, “Ali Aghamohammadi” in the specialized meeting “Production; “Knowledge-based, job-creating” referring to demographic age conditions and economic growth challenges in the country, added: “The country needs a significant growth rate, if this is not realized, it will cause an increase in poverty, decrease in demand and increase in inflation.”
He stated that changing the economic growth of the country requires providing expert solutions and changing the existing economic conditions in a specific period and said: The financing chain must be properly managed and the priority fields for focus and economic growth must be identified.
Agha Mohammadi stated: Considering the economic conditions of the country, in order to accelerate the economic growth, we need a series of special activities and we must train experts in this field.
This member of the Expediency Recognition Council mentioned the necessity of achieving global production, improving the quality of production and conforming to international standards, and emphasized the implementation of Article 44 of the Constitution and expert work in this field.
He emphasized on the implementation of resistance economy in the country and continued: having a proper mechanism that governs resistance in the economy is necessary and important, and resistance economy should not be confused with austerity economy.
Agha Mohammadi added: opportunities to increase demand in the country’s economy should be created and the scale of domestic production companies should be internationalized so that they can show their production capacities in other countries, as the number of such production companies in the country is not small.
He considered the need for economic growth to improve people’s lives and increase demand and said: This should be our main goal to achieve economic growth and managers should know expert work and trust experts.
Aghamohammadi considered the country’s economic growth to be a need for expert work and added: The preparation of the seventh development plan and next year’s budget will provide a basis for expert work to be considered and paid attention to.
According to him, for the training of experts and researchers, attractions and privileges should be taken into account so that the minimum standards of their lives are provided.
The need to move towards a knowledge-based economy
In this meeting, Ahmad Teshkini, the head of the Business Studies and Research Institute, stated: Iran’s economy is transitioning from the stage of growth based on production factors to the stage of growth based on efficiency.
He said: According to competitiveness reports, there are three stages of growth; The first stage is growth based on production factors. The second stage is efficiency-based growth and the third stage is knowledge-based growth.
Teshkini stated: Iran is in the transition stage from the first stage to the second stage; Based on this, the economic structure of the country must be changed and a serious move towards a knowledge-based economy must be made, otherwise we will not achieve acceptable growth.
He continued: The surrounding environment of Iran’s economy in the Middle East region is full of opportunities and threats for various reasons, and based on this, the local model of extracting the maximum benefits of the country and people should be designed in this environment.
This official continued: Iran’s economy, due to its presence in the tense region of the Middle East, includes many impulses and disturbances, and for this reason, a systemic and dynamic view (instead of a systematic view) should be considered to solve problems.
Teshkini, stating that in the field of industry, the priorities of industrial fields should be taken into account and special focus should be made for priority fields, he added: Many countries are known for some special industrial fields, and in this regard, Iran’s economy should also have the main frameworks for growth and Identify your exports.
He clarified: A very important point in economic discussions is the existence of expert consensus for the correct and decisive implementation of economic policies, but in some cases, the division of votes between experts makes the decision-making process very slow and in some cases impossible.
