The unemployment rate in the spring of 1400 was about 8.8%, and after 5 months from the start of the 13th government, the unemployment rate reached 8.9% according to the statistics of the Iranian Statistics Center. After the summer of 1402, this rate decreased to 7.9%, and now, according to the latest reports of the Iranian Statistics Center on the labor force in the fall of 1402, the unemployment rate decreased by 0.3% to 7.6%.

According to the statistics of the Iranian Statistics Center, the employment rate in the autumn of 1402 has reached 92.4% and the unemployment rate has reached 7.6%. 71.9% of the working population work 44 hours or more per week, and 28.1% work less than 44 hours per week.

In the fall of 1402, 760,861 people have been added to the working population of the country. The rate of economic participation of the population aged 15 and above has increased by 0.5%, and a greater share of these changes is related to the economic participation of women.

Daoud Manzoor, head of the Program and Budget Organization, also presented a report on the results of the labor force census in the fall of 1402 and said: the results of the statistics center show a decrease in the unemployment rate and an improvement in the labor market, the population of 15 years and older is 760 thousand from the fall of last year to this year. It has increased and reached 64.6 million people, the employed people increased by 705 thousand and reached 24.75 million people. This is an increase of 630,000 people in the service sector.

Daud Manzoor further announced the decrease in the unemployment rate in the whole country from 8.2% last year to 7.6% this year and said: This decrease in the unemployment rate is important in some provinces, for example in Kermanshah and Lorestan. 1.7% and 3.9% in Kurdistan, we have reduced the unemployment rate.

The head of the Planning and Budget Organization stated that the biggest decrease in the unemployment rate has taken place in Mazandaran, Semnan, Razavi Khorasan and South provinces and clarified: the unemployment rate in Mazandaran is 5.1%, in Semnan and Razavi Khorasan it is 5.3% and South Khorasan has reached 5.5%, which in terms of the stability of the labor market and the creation of employment in some provinces, we have reached the common unemployment rate in the world, which is 5%.
