Good news for “Game of Thrones” fans; Three animated series are coming


According to Fars Cinema Reporter, Martin, who is heavily influenced by the “Blue Eyed Samurai” series, praised the work of Amber Noizumi and Michael Green and revealed his future projects that take place in the “Game of Thrones” world.

“Blue-Eyes Samurai has its own very unique world, and it’s fantastic. Even if you don’t normally watch anime, check this one out. it’s amazing. If you like my work, you will love it.” Martin wrote about the new Netflix product.

He then talked about his own projects and added: “By the way, HBO and I are also developing our own animated projects that take place in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe.”

Martin confirmed that he hasn’t gotten the green light for any of these projects yet, “but I think we’re getting close to getting a few built.”

The Westeros father revealed that he had four animated series in development with the entertainment giant, and several groups of writers were working on the series in think tanks, but two projects were ultimately shelved.

This 75-year-old writer also announced that the “Sea Serpent” series, which was previously announced to be live-action, has now been changed to anime. Martin cited the high cost of production as the reason for this.

The names and stories of the two animations that Martin confirmed to produce have not yet been revealed. After the end of the eighth season of the popular series “Game of Thrones”, many rumors about the creation of a spin-off from this series were spread; From “Fly Bottom” to “Ten Thousand Ships”.

The first season of “Dragon Family” aired last summer and was able to break the record of a new series in the history of this network. This prequel goes back about 174 years before the appearance of Ned Stark, Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister and is based on the novel “Fire and Blood”.

HBO has announced that the second season of the “Game of Thrones” spin-off will air in the summer of 2024. Martin previously warned that the opening episodes of the second season “are very poignant and may bring tears to the eyes of viewers”.
