According to Tejarat News, Mehrdad Bazarpash, on the sidelines of the operation of 2,200 units of Mehr housing, announced that with the efforts of the board members of the New Cities Construction Company and the management of Hashtgerd New Construction Company, 2,200 units, including 666 villas, were put into operation today. The applicants of this project have been waiting for the delivery of units for 10 to 12 years. According to the government’s policy of completing half-finished projects, these units were completed and delivered in a short period of time.
He added: “According to the government’s planning, Mehr Hashtgerd housing will be completed next year.” Next week, 10,000 housing units will be opened in Mehr Pardis, and 2,500 units are ready to be opened in Parand city.
Referring to the income of Mehr housing applicants, he reminded that: Mehr housing applicants have paid between 40 and 50 million tomans for their units, and these figures are very different nowadays. In order to provide financial resources, the government arranges the resources at its discretion.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized that the number of housing applicants will not increase and said: My half-finished housing projects will be completed and handed over to the applicants in the form of the National Housing Movement.
Bazarpash also stated that in 1200 cities of the country, national housing projects are built in the form of villas, and added: We will build units in the form of apartments in cities where the land does not allow.
He also said about the Chinese agreement to build housing in Iran: Let the work go ahead.
Minister’s good news for applicants of the National Housing Movement
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development announced the finalization of the profit reduction of the National Housing Movement until the end of the year.
Mehrdad Bazarpash, on the sidelines of the operation of 2,200 Mehr housing units, said: Hashtgerd metro has not reached its full capacity, and we are following up to solve this problem with the cooperation of Tehran Municipality.
He emphasized: After solving the problems, the passenger capacity of Hashtgerd metro will increase by 2 to 3 times.
Regarding the increase in the cost price of the National Housing Movement, he added: We are solving the problem of increasing the cost price of the National Housing Movement units with other methods so that the income of the people will decrease. The interest rate of the National Housing Movement facility was 23%, which we are reducing the interest rate of the facility with the president’s emphasis, and with the president’s emphasis that it is high, this interest will be reduced.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: Two days ago, a meeting was held in the Money and Credit Council, where the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development presented its plan regarding the interest rate of facilities and its reduction.
By stating that we are waiting for the relevant committee’s opinion regarding the interest of the facility, Bazarpash emphasized: By the end of the year, the reduction of the interest rate of the National Housing Movement will be finalized.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development added: “Difficulties have been created in the final price for applicants with initial income, and we have considered ways to reduce the final price for applicants who are covered by support institutions.”
