Google Chrome 93 web browser released with springs from Google’s new Material You design language. Google Chrome 93 is available for Android, iOS and desktop.
Google has quietly started releasing a new version of Chrome browser for Android, iOS and desktops. The new version, called Google Chrome 93, was released a month after the release of Chrome 92, which provided secure website controls that allowed you to easily track tracking permissions by websites. The new version of this browser has been released with minor but important changes.
Release Google Chrome 93 for all platforms
This update is relatively smaller than Chrome 92, which was released in late July. Join us as we explore all of the browser’s new features and enhancements.
First of all, it should be noted that this update will bring a relatively darker mode to Android phones. This mode will now make the browser’s interface a little darker than before, which was closer to gray. You’ll notice this change on the app’s home screen and system status bar, the Network Tab Navigation system, and the Chrome settings page. However, according to the images seen from this version, this color change is not very significant.
This color is now darker than the gray color of the previous version with its blue background, and it can be said that it is one step closer to the real black color. Google has also changed the color of the Omnibox, as well as the color of the three-point menu and the gesture bar. In its new update, this browser has seen changes based on the new design language of Google Material You, which comes with Android 12.
For iOS phones, the new Chrome will offer a new, more compact text menu for when you long-tap links and images. Some changes related to Google Account can also be seen on the device. For example, if you connected your phone to your Google Account before installing the app, Chrome will launch immediately and you will have easy access to other Google services on the web. The second change is the permission to use and save payment methods to users through a Google account, without the need for synchronization.
Other changes to Google Chrome 93 are related to the desktop version; Where the Recently Closed menu has changed slightly and now allows you to view all recently closed sites in a single collection and restore them individually. The lock icon in front of URLs has also been replaced by a military grade icon.
As we mentioned at the beginning of the report, version 92 of Google Chrome, released in late July, included important security features and useful tracking monitoring. One of its most important features is the version management of licenses provided to websites for user tracking.
You can access this feature by clicking the lock icon in the left corner of the address bar. Chrome will then show you all the permissions a website has received and you can change them. Of course, keep in mind that this feature is currently only available on Android phones and tablets, and iPhone users will not be able to access it. This feature will allow you to grant or revoke the license to use the microphone, location, camera and other permissions that the website requires.
This version also supports Chrome Actions, which will help you make the most of the updated version of License Management. With this option you can more easily use the security features and privacy of Chrome. Just enter the first few words of the desired feature in the Chrome browser address bar to click on the available feature from the displayed options and enter its settings directly.
In the Android version of Google Chrome 93, Google has also shown the springs of the Material You design language that comes with Android 12. This design language brings the most design changes since the release of Android. The user interface of the bookmarks and downloads section in the changed Android version of Chrome are a clear example of this new design language. Google’s Gboard keyboard app has also received some elements of this new design, including dynamic themes.
