Google has admitted fraud in announcing the charging power of the Pixel 6

Google has issued a statement announcing the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro charging power, admitting that it made a mistake about the maximum power of the Pixel 6 and confirming the reports of fraud in charging the charger.
Some time ago, news about the maximum power of a 6-pixel charger Was published. The report noted that the speed of the Pixel 6 charger did not reach a maximum power of 30 watts, while Google had made another claim. Google has now acknowledged reports of fraudulent claims of charging power by admitting its mistake.
The Android Authority Group realized that the charging speed of the Pixel 6 using the main adapter does not reach the declared 30 watts and is a maximum of 22 watts. As a result, the charging time in practice is about two hours. This is even worse for third-party adapters.
About a week after the news of Google’s fraud in the case of charging power was announced, Google first decided to explain the charging process of the Pixel 6 series and provide a clear answer to this issue. Google commented on this in its public forum. In a statement, Google noted that in the new batteries used for the Pixel series phones, the company has simultaneously focused on high battery life and fast charging support, and intends to meet both the needs of users.
Google’s official statement said that the power of Pixel 6 charging technology could show different behavior due to some components such as battery design, device system, mobile temperature, mobile usage rate and charging status.
Google added in a statement that the developers have optimized the pixel battery, and with a 30-watt charger, the battery can be charged up to 50% in half an hour. Depending on the device and the temperature of the mobile, it takes about an hour to reach 80% of the charging capacity.
Google confirms that as the full charge of the battery approaches, the charging power will gradually decrease to increase the life of the battery. The company also says that the maximum power of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro chargers through the wired charger is 21 and 23 watts, respectively.
