Google is developing an Android migration app for iOS. This app facilitates the process of turning iPhone users to Google operating system.

The 9to5Google website recently noticed a new code in the Android Data Restore Tool section that could mean a new application. Google is probably working on an Android migration app for the iOS App Store. This app can be considered Google’s answer to the Move to iOS app that Apple had previously developed for Android.

Now, if an iPhone user wants to switch to Android, they must first back up their contacts, calendar events, and images to Google Drive, and then import the same account into their new Android device. In this way, the user can access the desired content through the relevant programs.

The new code in version 1.0.382048734 of Google’s data recovery tool specifically refers to the Android migration application for iOS users. In the program description, we see the following text:

Step 1: Download the Switch to Android app from the App Store.

Step 2: Go to your WiFi settings.

Step 3: Connect to the desired network and enter the password.

In addition, the tool has undergone new changes that indicate that more data can probably be transferred than in the past. For example, it is even mentioned that this program has the ability to transfer applications.

Enter the iTunes backup password to transfer your apps, text messages, and contacts.

It is not yet clear how Google wants to transfer apps from iOS to Android. Is there any other way but to download their Android version on the new device? Honestly, we are not even sure that the program data is transferable. However, the only thing that can be said for sure is that you will have to repurchase paid apps from Google Play and the Android migration app will not help you in this regard.
