Grossi: I have no duty to introduce the perpetrators of sabotage in Iranian facilities – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, “Rafael Grossi” Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency in an interview with Website “Energy Intelligence“In the first place, I am the director general of an international organization that deals with non-proliferation,” he said, referring to the impact of sabotage measures such as the assassination of nuclear scientists and sabotage of Iran’s nuclear facilities on the IAEA. Also, I have been a non-proliferator with 40 years of experience working in various associations and foundations, and I am a diplomat, so I do not believe in the use of force and I condemn the use of force. Regarding this case (sabotage of Iran’s nuclear facilities), I have no investigative or political role. I keep my position because I have a responsibility. It is not my job to provide a political interpretation of the perpetrators of this sabotage. I do not have the ability to do research and know what may have happened.
Grossi added in a general statement: “As a general rule and principle, I say that violence is not a means to an end unless it is in self-defense.” This is a very problematic issue, as the UN Charter recognizes. It’s a political issue, so it’s not my job to describe it.
Grossi eventually claimed: “But I’m saying in this particular case that an accident happened there and as a result of that accident, some of our equipment was damaged. We certainly understand the frustration of those who would like to see the Director General say that this or that country has done so. I do not have such a duty and I will never have such a duty. I say without hesitation and certainty that violence is never the way to achieve anything.
