Guides are the pioneers of the tourism industry

According to Moj News Agency, Ali Asghar Shalbafian, the country’s Deputy Minister of Tourism, said in a video message to the virtual gathering of Iranian tour guides: “All circles in the tourism industry receive feedback when tourist guides, as commentators and missionaries of the tourism industry, encounter tourists.”

He described the tourist guides as pioneers and forerunners of the tourism industry facing foreign tourists and added: “Last year we tried to address some of the concerns, we hope next year we can help more this influential group in the field of tourism industry.”

The inclusion of tour guide insurance in the 1401 budget bill and the proposal to the provincial travel services headquarters to use tour guides as health ambassadors on Nowruz 1401 were among the measures taken by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, who expressed hope that the capacity of guides would be the same. Which was used in the expo event to be used after this and to support this effective layer of tourism more than before.
