Haddad Adel: Performing ta’zia has become more artistic than before

According to the Fars news agency’s theater reporter, ta’ziyeh is a ritual and authentic Iranian and Islamic art, an art that once flourished in Iran, but unfortunately its performance has decreased in recent decades to be forgotten.

After these circumstances, perhaps this year can be considered as a year for Ta’zieh, a year in which many gatherings were held to hold Ta’zieh and were accompanied by many audiences. One of these gatherings was held in Tehran’s theater campus. The artistic field was held in an effort to show devotion to Hazrat Seyyed al-Shohada (AS).

The last night of the Ta’zia Majlis “Shabiyeh Noor” with the title Majlis of Hazrat Abbas (PBUH) ended its work on the evening of the 5th of August at the Tehran Theater campus, which was accompanied by the presence of Gholam Ali Haddad Adel and Amir Hossein Samiei, the artistic deputy of the Municipal Cultural and Artistic Organization.

Haddad Adel, at the end of the meeting last night, while meeting and thanking the executive officers and reciters of Al-Taha Ta’zieh Assembly, said: “Daily busyness has made us less likely to attend Ta’zieh meetings. “Watching this Ta’zia was a memory renewal from many years ago, thanks to the Islamic Revolution, this art has been revived and the performance of Ta’zi like light in the Tehran theater campus showed that this national-religious art has been revived.”

He added: “The holding of the assembly tonight confirmed that this religious show has become much more artistic and technical than before. Due to my attendance at the Persian Language and Literature Academy, I paid close attention to the reading of the poems of the reciters. The remarkable thing is that there is not a single mistake in There were poems that were read, this point is commendable, also the literary, artistic and religious aspect was very valuable.

In the end, he praised and thanked the municipality, the cultural and artistic organization, the artistic deputy of this organization and the management of Tehran Theater Campus.

“Shabieh Noor” Ta’zieh was staged on Tuesday, August 17th in the special space of Tehran Theater Campus with the performance of 20 Ta’zieh-Khonani assemblies.
