Half a billion dollars of currency was offered in the Nima system; 96% of it had no customers


According to Iran Economist, the Central Bank announced the details of the transactions made in the hawala and currency note markets on Thursday, 7/28/1401.

According to the report of the central bank, the total number of transactions carried out in the Nima system reached the equivalent of 20 million dollars until 17:00 on Thursday.

The total supply of currency in the Nima (Hawale) system was equal to 543 million dollars and the total currency traded in this system was equal to 20 million dollars until 17:00 on Thursday.

In this way, less than 4% of the currency offered in the Nima system has customers and the supply of currency has completely increased compared to the demand.

It should be noted that the total transactions on Wednesday in the Nima system were equal to 220 million euros.

Also, in the integrated foreign exchange market (banknotes), 11.2 million dollars with an average rate of 31 thousand 390 tomans and 490 thousand euros with an average rate of 31 thousand 342 tomans were traded by agreement.
