The head of Hamedan Mountaineering and Sports Climb Committee says: The Mountaineering Museum was created for the first time in the country and after 6 months of follow-up, we managed to visit the cultural heritage experts to prepare the necessary and legal procedures for issuing the museum’s license in order to To be included in the list of tourist attractions of the province.

Alireza Gohari added: Equipment, documents, specialized and general equipment related to mountaineering, photos and many works from the whole country and dating back a hundred years are available there.

The head of the Hamedan Mountaineering Committee further said: 85 climbers have donated equipment and supplies to this museum, and all donated items have been classified and coded.

He stated that the size of the Hamedan Mountaineering Museum is 200 square meters and said: This area is limited due to the number of works and valuable donated equipment, and we plan to add to its size.

Gohari said: documents, photos, books and valuable equipment are stored in this museum and we need more space.

He continued: With the support of executive bodies, especially cultural heritage, we are looking for the national registration of this climbing museum, because we have a very good capacity in this field.

The head of Hamedan Mountaineering and Sports Climbing Board emphasized on clarifying the works donated to this museum and stated: 1000 works and equipment are kept in this museum and soon we will provide the list of donated works in the form of PDF software to the public of climbers and those involved.
