According to Mehr news agency, citing Ahed, the Islamic resistance movement Hamas issued a statement expressing its condolences to the government and people of Iran over the death of a number of Iranian citizens due to the flood in Fars province.

According to this report, the statement of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas in this regard states: We have received the news of the death of a number of Iranian citizens due to the flood incident, and we offer our condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Hamas statement emphasized: We offer our condolences to the families of the flood victims in Fars province and express our sympathy to them. We also express our sympathy to the people of Iran. We ask God for mercy and forgiveness for the victims.

It should be noted that more than 20 people died on Friday evening following a deadly flood in Estehban city located in Fars province. According to relevant sources, following this flood, many people are also missing.
