The implementation of the marine tourism plan with the aim of optimal use of domestic and foreign tourists from these natural attractions has been one of the long-standing wishes of travelers, tourists and residents of the northern region, especially Mazandaran province, which was realized with the formation of the 13th government by the provincial officials, especially the governor. Nevertheless, marine tourism was one of the dreams of sea-loving residents and tourists of the northern region, especially the western part of Mazandaran province. By launching the first recreational and marine bus on the beaches of Nowshahr, the first practical step of the 13th government has been taken to start this part of the province’s tourism industry.

In this connection, the investor and owner of this recreational and marine bus said: This bus has been following up on administrative issues since October after its transfer from the south of the country to the northern part of Nowshahr port, in other words, the type of use of it from sea to passenger and also This bus was equipped and thanks to God, these pursuits paid off and on Sunday, it was launched in the coastal waters of Nowshahr to carry out test procedures from Ramsar to Amirabad.

The coastal area of Ramsar to Farah Abad, which is about 300 kilometers long, is under the supervision of the Mazandaran Ports and Maritime Administration, and the rest of the coastal waters of the province are under the supervision of the Amirabad Ports and Maritime Administration.

Effective government action

The senior expert of cultural heritage and tourism in Mazandaran province believes that the light of marine tourism in this province has been turned on with the start of the recreational and marine bus, which was actually the essential need of the beaches of Mazandaran.

In an interview with IRNA reporter, Abdul Rasool Samimi stated that Mazandaran province has many capacities in the sea area and said: Unfortunately, this national and international capacity has not been used in various fields, especially tourism, and the opportunities have been lost. But now, by preparing a scientific road map of maritime tourism, it is necessary to pay basic attention to its development.

He pointed out: Mazandaran province has three commercial ports, Amirabad, Behshahr, Faridoonkanar, and Nowshahr special economic zone, each of which has coastal docks, and its infrastructure should be used abundantly for the development of marine tourism, because it will generate high employment and income.

He clarified: According to the available official statistics, more than 80% of the passengers of this region travel to Mazandaran with the purpose of using the sea, but until now, this water capacity has only been used for swimming and riding a few jet skis.

Preparation of maritime tourism road map of three northern provinces

The senior expert in the field of tourism stated: The facilities of the beaches of 15 coastal cities of Mazandaran should be prepared for passengers and tourists in the most beautiful ways, because it should be planned in such a way that the citizens of each region can benefit from sea entertainment.

Samimi stressed the need to increase the number of sea buses in the Caspian Sea and added: the officials of the relevant institutions should plan to realize this important, while the three northern provinces should also prepare and compile a road map for the development of sea tourism.

He listed the start of this sea bus in the Mazandaran coast as one of the influential strategies of the 13th government in the field of tourism and maritime economy.

Marine tourism is one of the most important factors in attracting tourists, and fortunately, the spell of marine tourism was broken with the arrival of a recreational and marine bus in the waters of the Special Economic Zone of Bandar Nowshahr with the determination of the Jihadi government, but experts emphasize that this auspicious event can be a suitable platform for the arrival of ships. passenger services such as cruises and strengthening other facilities and equipment that complement the marine tourism industry.

Marine tourism is basically the activities that are carried out in the marine environment and away from the coastline by sea-loving tourists, and the development of this industry requires the provision of necessary infrastructures and platforms such as the creation of docks, tourism facilities, coastal industries and Coastal, maritime villages, tourist ports, artificial islands, tourist and cruise ships, maritime museums and maritime hotels.

According to statistics, the coastal area of the northern provinces is about five thousand and 800 km long, of which about 890 km in the north includes the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran and Golestan, and the largest share of the coastal area of the Caspian Sea is about 400 km long in the geographical area of Mazandaran, 270 Gilan km and the rest are related to Golestan province.

Natural attractions such as the 40-million-year-old green forests known as the Hyrkan region, the operation of three airports, historical museums, hot mineral water springs, natural monuments such as Si Sangan forest parks, Ramsar and Chalus cable car welfare and tourism complexes, and hundreds Another example is the capacity that, according to some experts, completes the chain of profitable tourism industry, especially marine tourism in Mazandaran province.

The Deputy of Coordination and Civil Affairs of Mazandaran Governorate said: The arrival of the first entertainment and marine bus of the Caspian coastal waters in Mazandaran Province of Nowshahr Special Economic Zone has entered a new chapter of planning after years of waiting.

In an interview with IRNA reporter, Reza Alikhani Kashkak added: One of the most important strategies in Mazandaran is the prosperity of the economy of this province and focusing on two issues, one is agriculture and the other is tourism and the sub-branches of this profitable industry, especially the operationalization of the maritime tourism plan. .

He said: Today, the Caspian Sea coastal area of this province, with all its many advantages in terms of economy, unfortunately, except in the field of fishing and coastal recreation such as riding jet skis, boating, and swimming, there is no other use of this divine gift. It can’t be done while other countries have been turning towards marine tourism for years to benefit from this capacity of sea-based economy.

This official of Mazandaran governorate pointed out: Accordingly, one of the measures taken by the Jihadi government for the dynamism and prosperity of this industry is to provide infrastructure, the most important of which is the liberation of the 60-meter zone of the Caspian Sea.

After the president’s visit to Gilan province in February of last year, the issue of freeing the 60-meter coastal zone from the north of the country was discussed following the order of Ayatollah Raisi, according to the head of the architecture and urban planning department of Mazandaran governorate, about 90 percent of the 60-meter zone was opened. The coastal area of more than 400 kilometers of Mazandaran has been liberated.

The Deputy of Coordination and Civil Affairs of Mazandaran Governorate believes that the liberation of Harim is actually an infrastructure prerequisite to attract investors in order to flourish the coastal and marine tourism industry in this province.

Alikhani Kashkak added: In order to attract investors in the field of marine tourism, many consultations were held during the past year with the consultation of relevant authorities, especially cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism, and ports and seafaring of the province. We are a recreational and marine passenger class to Nowshahr port for activities in the Caspian Sea of this province.

Identification of 20 marine tourism spots

Pointing out that the activation of this sea bus, he stated: So far, about 20 coastal areas of the province have been identified as part of the marine tourism plan, and by throwing this bus into the water, it is a good opportunity to benefit from the recreational docks that are being built in It is Mazandaran.

Identification of more than a thousand points from Behshahr to Ramsar coastal area for the construction of recreational piers during the past three years, an issue that was raised by the authorities, and according to the deputy of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Mazandaran, there has been an agreement in principle for about 65 recreational piers so far. it has been exported.

Planning to operate a cruise ship in the future

The deputy governor of Mazandaran said: With the arrival of the first recreational and sea bus in Mazandaran, this event can be a turning point for planning by this investor and other investors for the buyer of cruise ships and the activation of this fleet for the transportation of passengers and tourists. Daryadost should be in the coastal area of Mazandaran province and even neighboring coastal countries.

According to Alikhani Kashkak, today coastal tourism and sea transportation can play an effective role in the well-being of travelers and tourists due to the attractions it has in the area of forest, foothills, plains and sea.

The marine tourism light has been turned on

According to the experts, the southern coastal area of the Caspian Sea has routes that have not yet had the history of passenger transportation in the form of maritime tourism, and so far the activities that have taken place in this area have mostly been recreational in the coastal waters, such as transporting passengers with small boats. .

Naturally, the activation of the marine transport fleet such as cruise ships or in other words sea buses on the surface of the Caspian Sea will be favored by a large number of tourists, especially foreign tourists, which according to the officials of the infrastructure affairs are also largely in the coastal area of the province. is available

Experts in the tourism field of West Mazandaran say that with the start of this sea bus, the light of sea tourism was turned on in the Jihadi government, and due to the special attention of the provincial officials, including the governor, sea and air tourism is a platform for domestic and foreign investors to develop and strengthen. Coastal and marine tourism facilities are provided on the surface of the blue Caspian waters.

The need to provide marine tourism infrastructure/ the need to support related institutions

In this connection, the country’s tourism researcher believes that the launch of the sea bus should be taken as a good omen, but he considered the provision of infrastructure related to the development of sea tourism in the Mazandaran Sea to be an inevitable necessity.

In an interview with IRNA, Mohammad Reza Ormozdi added: All over the world, countries with water resources, seas and lakes have short-term, medium-term and long-term plans in the field of coastal tourism.

He pointed out: Recreational piers and relaxation ponds are among the preliminary steps for creating marine tourism facilities that should be taken into consideration by the planners.

He emphasized: The realization of marine or coastal tourism in the Caspian Sea requires the preparation of an integrated coastal plan for the coastal areas.

Ormuzdi added: The launch of the sea bus should not have a promotional aspect, so it is necessary for the relevant ministries, including economy, cultural heritage, ports and maritime organization, government, etc., to adopt a single mechanism for the development of sea tourism.

This professor of tourism in Mazandaran province emphasized the necessity of providing marine tourism infrastructure and marine tourism terminals in the sea of Mazandaran and added: despite the liberalization of the beaches, unfortunately Mazandaran coast is oppressed and does not have any facilities related to marine tourism, which should be used for this. Think about the important part of basic planning.

The coastal area of Ramsar to Farahabad, which is about 300 kilometers long, is under the supervision of Mazandaran General Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs, and the rest of the coastal waters of the province are also under the supervision of the General Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Amirabad.

Mazandaran province, due to its privileged positions in the field of tourism, natural and historical monuments, welcomes millions of travelers and tourists in all seasons of the year. And this province turns green.

According to statistics from the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, 85 million people stayed overnight in the province during the first six months of this year.

Currently, passengers and tourists travel by sea in Mazandaran by sea vessels such as jet skis and boats, and in Nowruz this year, at least 20,000 passengers were transported by more than 2,000 boats and boats in the Caspian Sea in Mazandaran. The officials of Mazandaran governorate predicted that more than 20 million travelers and tourists will travel to this province during Nowruz holiday of 1402.
