Has the tax on luxury homes started? – Tejarat News

According to Tejarat News, Dawood Manzoor said on Thursday, on the second day of the meeting of tax affairs managers across the country in Bandar Abbas: This figure is one tenth of the real number of luxury houses, which is expected to be identified as one million houses next year with the cooperation of municipalities, especially Tehran Municipality. Luxury will increase.
He continued: “Empty houses and expensive cars are also among the other cases for which the process of tax collection has been successful, and for 300,000 empty houses, notices and claims have been issued and notified to their owners.”
The head of the country’s tax affairs organization stated: If these taxpayers do not pay the notified tax after the first and second warning, enforcement action will be taken and withdrawal from their account will be done.
It should be noted that the tax amount of the three mentioned items (house, luxury car and empty houses) is not very high compared to the total tax of the country, but it is important from the point of view of dignity that the tax administrations should follow them seriously.
This senior economic official announced the identification of large tax evasion cases as the most important topic and priority for the next year and added: a committee consisting of the Ministry of Information, Economic Security Police and prosecutors across the country cooperates with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance in this field.
He emphasized: next year at least 50 thousand billion tomans of tax evasion should be discovered. Manzoor introduced the transfer of tax files of industries and companies to the provinces where they operate as another program that is being pursued seriously.
According to the head of the country’s tax affairs organization, 2,600 tax files with a value of 5,600 billion tomans and an added value of 8,600 billion tomans have been transferred to the provinces this year.
It should be noted that some tax cases are multi-provincial and the investigating province must calculate and pay the share of other participating provinces.
The head of the country’s tax affairs organization considered the Continental Plateau oil company as one of the cases that is subject to this situation and asked the Bushehr General Administration of Tax Affairs to pay Hormozgan’s share of this tax.
Manzoor warned: If the provinces refuse to implement this order, the tax file will be transferred to Tehran and the share of each province will be calculated and paid separately.
