Has the value of Iranian housing halved in Turkey?

According to Tejarat News, despite the halving of the lira and the economic problems of Turkey, Iranians are the second buyers of property in Turkey. Statistics show that from August 1999 to August 1400, the demand of Iranians to buy a house in Turkey increased by 21%. But at the same time, housing transactions in Tehran have decreased by 40%.
Earlier, Abolfazl Roghani, head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce and Industry, made a bizarre claim and told Fars: “According to the Turkish government’s decision, Iranians who have bought a property or an apartment in this country do not have the right to sell it. Unless they want to sell it to an organization designated by the Turkish government. “This organization sells Iranian real estate at a price 40 to 50 percent lower than its current value.”
The property of the Iranians in Turkey has not been halved
Do Iranians buy property in Turkey for free? The vice president of the Tehran Mass Producers Association told Tejaratnews: “The application of this law is not valid for foreign investors in Turkey.” It is unlikely that the Turkish government will change its investment laws so quickly. Because not only Iranians but also Emirati, Germans, Iraqis and Indians invested in Turkish real estate.
Iraj Rahbar explained: If Erdogan is going to change his country’s policies on attracting foreign investment soon, it will lead to capital flight. Of course, it is possible that in the future the sale price of foreign property in Turkey will be halved, but this policy is not being implemented now.
Halving the price of Iranian property in Turkey is not real
“Iranians sell their property in Turkey at the current price.” This is the news that Hamed Ghasemi, a housing market expert, gives to Trade News.
He denied that Iranian property was being sold for free in Turkey and told Tejarat News: “Experience shows that those who bought property in Turkey can sell it to Turks or citizens.” With these atmospheres, some people want to prevent the outflow of capital from the country.
Ghasemi explained: In Turkey, like other countries, they ask the reason for buying a house. Some buy property for consumption and others for investment. Those who do not intend to obtain a Turkish passport can sell their property to Turkish nationals or others at the current rate at any time.
Restriction on the sale of Iranian property for up to three years!
The housing market expert stated: An Iranian can not sell his housing unit for only three years if he has received a Turkish passport. The Turkish government has imposed this restriction for up to three years so that investors can not misuse Turkish passports for their first-degree relatives.
Ghasemi said: “There are some Iranians who, as soon as they receive a Turkish passport, formally sell their residential unit to their close relatives to receive a Turkish passport, which the Turkish government has prevented this profit by adopting these laws.”
According to this report, the migration of mass producers from Iran to Turkey and Dubai made news recently. Ramin Goran Orimi, secretary of the Tehran Mass Builders Association, had said: “Not only the position of buyers but also the position of manufacturers in Iran has changed.” This means that builders also migrated to Turkey and Dubai for construction and economic activities, and this has become widespread.
