Theater News Base: The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the list of nominees for the 79th Golden Globe Awards, and Iranian cinema with the film “Hero” written and directed by Asghar Farhadi was among the final 5 nominees for the best foreign (non-English language) category.

This is the fourth time that Asghar Farhadi has been nominated for a Globe Award. “Hero” starring Amir Jadidi, Mohsen Tanabandeh, Fereshteh Sadr Arfaei, Sahar Goldoust and Sarina Farhadi, had its first screening in the competition section of the 74th Cannes Film Festival this year and finally won the Grand Jury Prize.
