Ali Darabi, Acting Minister of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, told Mehr reporter about the presence of directors and actors of films and series in historical buildings and how to care for these buildings as well as pay attention to these spaces. Heritage Three directors and producers such as Puran Derakhshandeh and Mehdi Faraji are present and they help us to facilitate the work of artists and to consider heritage considerations in these spaces.
He added: “Being in these buildings may cause damage somewhere, and this council is trying to prevent such damage. It is important to be able to make movies and series and to be able to take care of the building.”
Darabi said about the production of the series that the Ministry of Cultural Heritage is going to invest in: One of the series that is going to be made is the “Hive” series written and directed by Ahmadreza Darwish and produced by Mehdi Faraji. This series is jointly produced between us and Sedavasima and is in the field of heritage, tourism and handicrafts. Currently, its script has been written and these days it is in the pre-production stage.
Acting Minister of Cultural Heritage stated: Anyway, this effort of Mr. Faraji, the producer of the series, is commendable. Our heritage is our identity and our roots, and we should deal with it as much as we can. The heritage festival, which was held recently, is for this reason that we refer to our past and turn the pages of history in order to remind the younger generation.
Referring to the possibility of payment to the caravanserais in the form of visual and theatrical works, some of which have reached the world register in the past few months, Darabi reminded: “Saad al-Sultaneh” caravanserais was one of the caravanserais that reached the world register this year. So far, more than 700 caravanserais have been registered nationally, and 54 caravanserais have been registered internationally.
In another part of his speech, he pointed to the series “Noon.Kh” directed by Saeed Aghakhani and said: I thank Mr. Faraji for paying attention to the issue of cultural heritage. In terms of budget, the situation may not be suitable to help the production of these films and series, but in Sistan and Baluchistan province, we provide suitable locations and places for the project. Some of these locations and events can be tangible heritage, and some of the phenomena that can be addressed in this series and other movies and series are intangible heritage; The intangible heritage is the culture of people living in these areas, their style and traditions, their clothes and food.
