Holding the Green Mission event in Yazd on the occasion of Tourism Week

According to the Arya Heritage report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Yazd Province, on Wednesday, October 12, on the occasion of commemorating the tourism week and respecting the slogan of tourism and green investment, the specialized committee for historical cultural tourism of Yazd in cooperation with the specialized committee for food tourism and the organization Waste management, in accordance with the plans of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and in line with the synchronization of ecotours with cultural ambassadors, handicrafts, local food and good traditions of Yazd province, organized an event under the title “Green Mission” combining industry, tradition and food. .
In this event, which was attended by a number of officials of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Yazd Municipality, hotel managers, tourist guides and a group of citizens, Yazdi artisans, using Yazdi textiles and handwoven items, bought items such as bags, children’s breakfast tables and tablecloths. They offered bread.
Also, traditional Yazd foods and healthy snacks such as Shuli, Siruk, Komach and natural dry fruits were given to the attendees along with herbal teas in earthen containers and environmentally friendly packaging.
In this event, solutions to separate waste, reduce the volume of waste and turn it into compost were presented to the attendees, and at the end, the attendees were invited to be narrators and founders of sustainable tourism development.
Considering that the development of authentic Yazdi culture was and is synchronous and symbiotic with respect for handicrafts and the environment, this event was held with the aim of linking the cultural chain, tourism and handicrafts.
