According to Fars News Agency’s music correspondent, Mozaffar Shafiei, a veteran singer of Iranian music who has been in charge of judging the Young Music Festival for several years, said about the role of the festival in educating a new generation of singers: It is held in good dimensions, which is due to the different views and methods of Mr. Hooman Asadi, who has been holding this festival for many years with continuous follow-up, and everything is done with his continuous efforts.
Muzaffar Shafiei, the judge of the National Festival of Young Music, said: “It is a source of hope and encouragement for both the festival and the judges that such students participate in the festival, especially this year, in section A, their work was very promising.” Personally, I am ready to solve their vocal problems by talking to the young people who were removed from the judging at this stage.
He continued: “All young singers today or those who are on the verge of becoming famous and are among the good singers of Iran today, were discovered through the Young Music Festival and their first experience in performance; Many of these Iranian singers participated in the Young Music Festival from an early age, some of whom were ranked and some were not, but they certainly attended the festival, and this presence has led to progress in their work.
The veteran singer of Iranian music added about the quality level of the works of the participants in the 15th National Festival of Young Music: “This year was more welcomed than last year.” This festival has been able to create a hobby and encouragement for the youth in the last two years and in the bad conditions of Corona, and they should also send their works with enthusiasm. In my opinion, age group A was much better in terms of quality and a little bit. Age group b; They were a little more than last year, but in terms of quality compared to last year, their level was lower. And the quality of their work was very good. In general, only a few in age group B were weaknesses that needed to be addressed.
“We, the judges of the singing section, believe that we should have training programs for the participants who are not selected,” Shafiei said.
