According to Mehr reporter, the press conference of the second Fajr National Video Music Festival was held in the presence of Alireza Qazweh, director of the Poetry, Music and Anthem Office of Radio and Television, as well as the directors of this festival, today, Sunday, the 9th of Bahman.
At first, Alireza Qazweh said about Fajr festivals: Festivals like Fajr poetry, Fajr theater are being performed, Fajr music is held with a little delay, and Fajr music, although it is entrusted by the poetry and music office of the Radio and Television Organization, it does not consider itself separate from other festivals. It tries to do something equal to the festivals of the past periods.

He added: This festival is very young, its first edition was held in 2017, and this year it will be held after four years, after Corona and other problems, and we will hold its closing ceremony on March 15.
Qazwa stated: In the first session that was held, more than 1,100 videos were sent to the secretariat. This year, in the second period, more than 800 pieces have reached the secretariat, and the deadline for sending works has not yet ended.
Introducing Jeshwara’s managers, he stated: As usual in all festivals, we have a manager and a festival secretary. Majid Moslehi is the director of the festival and Gholamreza Malkoti is the secretary of the festival.
Qazwa further referred to the office under his management and stated: The name of the poem that is included in the beginning of the book of poetry, music and hymns was notified by the head of the organization in my order and it was not there before. The Broadcasting Organization has not been in charge of poetry before, and we paid a lot of attention to poetry in this one year. Our two honorable leaders Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Leader of the Revolution are both decorated with this original art. It is enough to know how important this art is.
We stopped unauthorized works on TV
He added: We tried to have the poets of the Islamic Revolution have a more serious presence on TV. The content of the hymns and the titles’ poetry has been of a higher quality with the strictness, supervision and councils we had. With the strong warnings we gave, we stopped unauthorized works and licensed works are broadcast.
The director of Sedavasima’s poetry and music office said about the music archive: We have the largest archive in the country. This archive has 70,000 pieces of music, some of which have music videos, and we are still trying to improve this area.
Referring to the office’s productions, he also said: We produce one piece of music a day and 300 pieces a year, that is the statistics of our productions. Of course, the amount of work that is needed is still small. Radio Eva, Javan, Tehran, Farhang are among the radios that broadcast a lot of music and the contribution of music in the organization is very high.

Qazwa stated: If our budget increases, we are ready to increase these 300 pieces to 1000 during the year. A provision section is also being prepared and we welcome all institutions. Broadcasting belongs to all people and the doors of the organization are open to all those who work seriously and we are trying to have more participation.
Moslehi, the secretary of the festival, further stated: the music video adds to the impact of the music. Today, the speed and multiplicity of music videos are sometimes equal to the speed of social phenomena and can improve or challenge some of the issues.
He added: There is no place for a video television channel in the media frame. Of course, since last year, we have two hours of programs a day in the field of cyberspace in the form of “Nova” network, which belongs to this office.
The secretary of the festival stated: Despite the many problems we had, we tried to hold the second Esfand music festival this year. One of the goals of the festival format is to highlight the video. Another goal creates an opportunity for some of our orientations that show up in the message format to be exploited here. Another point is the young talents of the provinces who are recognized in the form of this festival. The next opportunity of the festival is to improve the quality of products.
He added: National unity, tourism, Iranian and Islamic family and lifestyle, future Iran are among the topics considered in the headlines of the festival.
Moslehi reminded: The musical works used in the music video can be archival and production, which of course is important as a result of the work.
Later, festival secretary Malkooti recalled: We had a call that we sent to all institutions and organizations to send their works for the festival. My conclusion is that this year the number of pieces will reach two thousand works because these 800 works that have arrived are at the beginning of the journey.
He mentioned about the visibility of talents in this festival: what we had in mind in the field of Fajr music videos was that people who have worked in this field, but their work has not reached anywhere, will be exploited by us.
The high feedback of the Nova network on TV
Malkuti said about the deadline for sending the works: In addition to the site, they can also send the works to the secretariat. If anyone has any questions, they can contact the secretariat. 25th of February is the deadline for submission of works.
Regarding honoring the greats of the music field at the end of the program, he said: We have an approach that the figures who have worked in the field of revolutionary poetry, from singers, poets and producers to other factors and the best works and songs, will be honored.
Further, Moslehi explained about the Nova network in the virtual space: The Nova network has more than two hours of new work daily, and it is planned to increase it to four hours next year.
This network provides the background for a video television network and now there is a large volume of media productions in this network.
He also said about the feedback of this network: This network is among the fourth or fifth network that has an audience on TV and has about one and a half million viewers per month.
