Honor V Purse was introduced; A folding phone with a bag-like design; Specifications + photo

During its conference at IFA 2023 in Berlin, Honor unveiled a unique concept foldable phone called Honor V Purse. This device, which has a folding screen on the outside, can also act as a handbag for the user, although of course you can’t put anything inside it!

Honor’s new phone It has very little thickness and when closed, its thickness reaches only 9 mm, which is not only thinner than Honor Magic V2, but also thinner than some standard phones. According to Honor, this device is a combination of physical design (detachable strap) and different styles of always-on display, which are designed by prominent designers.

The purpose of the interchangeable straps and different styles or designs of the always-on display that can be seen on both sides is that it can be used as a bag with different clothes, so you won’t need to buy different clothes.

In addition, Honor has used sustainable materials to make this foldable phone, including artificial leather for straps. Honor says products like its new foldable phone encourage consumers to buy less and, in return, use products for longer.

Since we are dealing with a conceptual product, it is not possible to buy it. However, Honor is developing a new platform for designing always-on display styles that will allow developers and designers around the world to create their own styles.

This platform allows always-on display designs to interact with the user and react to the environment. These designs also track the user’s touch and access sensors and accelerometers.

Considering that Honor has no plans for mass production of this product, it has not announced its hardware specifications, however, it has said that its display will maintain its performance up to 400 thousand times.
