Horaman’s integration of tangible and intangible heritage provides indicators of progress

According to the Arya Heritage report and quoted from the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan Province, Ismail Zareikosha said on Wednesday, May 13, 1402, in a video message to the first international conference of Horaman, which is being held at Kurdistan University, that Horaman is one of the most important tangible natural heritage that In addition to that, special attention should be paid to the intangible heritage of this region, including culture, civilization, character, morality, greatness and kindness of the people of this region.
Referring to the location of Horaman in the Kurdish regions of Kurdistan and Kermanshah as well as the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the Governor of Kurdistan added: We believe that this common divine gift should be used to the fullest for greater brotherhood and empathy and the growth and prosperity of the Kurdistan Province and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
He reminded: We hope that the topics presented in this meeting will help to benefit and exploit the potential of Horaman region.
May the originality of Horaman be preserved
The Deputy Director of Development of Management and Resources of Kurdistan Governorate also said in this conference: Horaman is tied to the name of Iran and tourism and it is not specific to Kurdistan province or Kermanshah, but it is a national and global region that has the most authentic culture.
Abdullah Rashidipour stated: Preservation of the culture and authenticity of Horaman, especially in constructions, should be considered so that we don’t see the normalization of the pristine and authentic features of this region along with other features based on the authenticity of this region.
The deputy of Kurdistan governorate management and resource development called for more interaction and cooperation between Iran and Iraq to protect Horaman and added: these conferences should be a platform to introduce and protect Horaman region so that it does not get damaged.
Horaman belongs to the world
The Head of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan Province said: Horaman’s cultural landscape does not only belong to Kurdistan, Kermanshah and Kurdistan Region of Iraq, but it belongs to the whole world.
Mansour Mehrzad stated in this conference: The global registration of Horaman/Uramanat is the result of double efforts and continuous follow-ups of the authorities and the unparalleled empathy and companionship of the hardworking people of the region, who were able to reveal the corners of the rich and fruitful culture of Horaman.
The head of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan province added: The architecture of the villages in this area has been formed in a stepped form by adapting to the slopes, which shows the peaceful coexistence of natural and man-made factors.
He stated: We hope that with more connection and synergy, we will be able to introduce the unique capacities of Horaman’s cultural landscape.
Recognizing Horaman’s capabilities creates new opportunities
The President of Kurdistan University also said in this conference: Recognizing the capacities and historical, environmental, social, cultural and economic characteristics of Horaman and exploring the ways to consolidate and stabilize the development of this region are among the goals of this conference.
Hamed Qadirzadeh stated: Horaman, as a common region between Iran and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, is a center for strengthening interaction in the field of scientific economy.
The President of Kurdistan University added: A significant part of the market of Kurdistan, Kermanshah and Kurdistan Region of Iraq is dependent on Horaman in terms of science and commodity economy, and knowing more about the capabilities of this region will strengthen the interaction and take advantage of the differences to create new opportunities.
He reminded: “Many efforts and values have been created in this region, the recognition of which requires more cooperation and interaction of people and executive bodies.”
The first Horaman international conference is being held with the efforts of the University of Kurdistan and with the presence of guests from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq; In this international conference, 22 specialized panels will be presented in the form of 93 articles for two days.
