Housing facilities reached 5%

“Mahmoud Mahmoudzadeh” on Saturday night in the headline program of Khabar Network added: the share of housing in banks’ facilities should be reasonable and logical, because with the mobilization in the housing sector, other economic sectors in the country will also prosper.

The Deputy Minister of Housing and Construction of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, stating that the share of housing facilities has been reasonable until 1991, said: “But in the current situation, the effectiveness of housing facilities in Tehran is not significant.”

A member of the board of directors of the Association of Mass Housing Builders also said in this TV program: “Unfortunately, banks have not been very willing to provide housing facilities in the past.”

Referring to the importance of financing the National Housing Movement, Iraj Rahbar said: “The issue of financing housing has a lot to say in the past, and its inflation or financial support in the field of construction is raised.”

He added: “Fortunately, the MPs were fully aware of this issue and tried to solve this problem legally according to the plan of the National Housing Movement, so that financial resources can be easily provided for the purchase or construction of housing, but banks have to pay facilities.” This section does not show interest.

A member of the board of directors of the Housing Mass Builders Association stated: “Banks provide facilities for service works with the aim of circulating their money and financial resources, and in the meantime, there is no place for paying facilities for housing, while the law obliges banks to pay more facilities in the housing sector.” .

The Supreme Leader said that banks are obliged to allocate 20% of the total facilities to the housing sector, adding: “The repayment rate of these facilities is long-term and the interest rate is mandatory and 18%, so the banks are still reluctant to pay.” They have no facilities.

A member of the board of directors of the Association of Mass Housing Builders, meanwhile, stressed: “Banks are very worried about paying for long-term facilities, especially in the housing sector, and are not willing to pay for it.”

A housing expert also stated in this TV program: Housing facilities are common all over the world and all banks are more willing to pay for this type of facility, but in Iran, banks are reluctant to do so and this should be pathological.

“Mehdi Ash’ari” added: “The long repayment period of housing facilities has caused the banks to not have the necessary cooperation to pay the mortgage.”

The housing expert said: “In this regard, the market solution is the mortgage, according to which banks can cash the facilities in the market whenever they want, but since we do not have a secondary mortgage in the market, this is not possible for our country.”

He said that fixed installments are another problem of the banking system in this area and the installments of the following years, housing facilities are not very significant due to the inflation rate in the country, he said: And are affected by the payment of this type of facility, so the only solution to pay the facility by the banks in this section is to pay the facility by repaying the installments at different rates.
