Housing price forecasts by the end of the year / housing will become more expensive again
According to Rasadaghtesadi: Vice President of Tehran Real Estate Union in response to the question of what the housing price will be by the end of the year? He said: The average price of housing in Tehran is about 24 million Tomans and housing prices are expected to increase due to inflation.
This is a retrospective statement, while in the latest report of the Central Bank, the average price per square meter of a residential unit in Tehran in October has reached 26 million and 700 thousand tomans.
Hesam Aghbaei added: “It is not clear yet how much housing prices will grow by the end of the year, but housing prices will have a stagflation by the end of the year.”
Regarding the process of buying and selling housing, he said: “The housing market is stagnant and despite the increase in prices, the buying and selling of housing has decreased compared to last month.”
According to the Central Bank, in September of this year, the number of residential apartment transactions in Tehran reached 8.5 thousand residential units, which compared to the previous month and the same month last year, shows a decrease of 6.8 percent and an increase of 203.7 percent, respectively.
