Housing supply in Khuzestan is on the verge of reaching 100,000 units – Tejaratnews


According to Tejarat News, the National Housing Movement project, which is one of the important economic priorities of the 13th government, is being pursued with more speed and seriousness in the second year of this government’s activity. Khuzestan province, as one of the strategic provinces of the country, is making more serious moves to achieve the goals set in this project at the same time as the president’s visit to this province.

The president and the government delegation have arrived in Khuzestan today, while this is the seventh visit of the president to this province and the second visit of the government delegation, and the number of these visits is due to the importance of this province for the president. Ministers and deputy ministers of 15 ministries and 6 deputy ministers accompany the president on this trip.

As the spokesperson of the government announced before this trip, various projects in the fields of construction, oil, gas, and healthcare are going to be put into operation.

According to the statistics received by ISNA, in the national housing sector, the number of urban land provided for this project is 26 thousand 373 units, which will reach 92 thousand 937 units including the land that is about to be provided. Also, in the field of rural housing, 1,547 cases of housing facilities were paid and 4,915 units were renovated by the Housing Foundation.

Also, in 78 cities of the province, 546 thousand 487 people have applied for registration in the National Housing Action Movement, of which 177 thousand 291 people have been approved.

The number of provided urban land is 26373 units, which will reach 92937 units including the land that is about to be provided, and the number of building permits issued is 7750 and the number of units under construction is 8406 units.

Therefore, 11,237 people have deposited the initial amount of 40 million tomans, and the project has been allocated to 11,127 people. Also, in the field of rural housing, 1,547 units received rural housing facilities and 4,915 units were renovated by the Housing Foundation.

Priority is given to single-unit houses

Mehrdad Bazarpash, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, told reporters Thursday on the sidelines of his visit to the National Housing Movement Plan of Dezful city: As long as it is possible to provide land, we will hand over the houses to the applicants as single units.

Pointing out that some areas are facing a shortage of land, he said: In such places, the construction of units will be done in the form of complex construction. Explaining the actions of this ministry in the field of housing construction, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: Our policy in Khuzestan province is to provide maximum land in order to accelerate the home ownership of our compatriots.

Bazarpash stated: Some lands are also in the possession of the armed forces or other institutions, which we asked them to provide these lands to us or their employees, and so far most of the requests have been agreed to.

He added: “We are trying not to have any problems with land supply in 1402.”

Bazerpash also pointed to the cooperation of the Housing Foundation in the National Movement and said: “Part of the construction and preparation of the land is being done at a high speed and we hope to be able to deliver residential units to the applicants in the coming months.”

Implementation of more than 12 thousand units in the Khuzestan National Movement Plan by the Housing Foundation

In this regard, the Director General of National Housing Projects of the Housing Foundation said: More than 12,000 urban and rural residential units have been operationalized by the Housing Foundation in Khuzestan in the National Housing Movement Plan.

Mehdi Mohammadi today, May 7, on the sidelines of visiting the plans of the National Housing Movement in Ekbatan, Ahvaz, referring to the president’s visit to Khuzestan, said: the process of building and completing the units of the National Housing Movement in the city and the countryside is evaluated favorably by the Housing Foundation of Khuzestan Province and the performance It is acceptable in this context.

Director General of National Housing Projects of Maskan Foundation said: The Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation is one of the agents of the National Housing Movement Plan, which has undertaken the construction of one million and 600 thousand residential units in cities and villages in the 13th government.

Mohammadi continued: Half of the units in the cities and the other half in the villages will be implemented, completed and delivered to the applicants.
