How does television portray Mohammad Reza Lotfi?



The documentary “Tar Hem No More Lotfi” is a portrait of Mohammad Reza Lotfi, a musician, composer, outstanding player of the tar and three strings, will be broadcast tonight on the documentary network.

Charso Press: According to the public relations of the documentary network, “Tar Hem No More Lotfi Dare” produced and directed by Mohammad Ali Behbahani will be broadcast tonight (Sunday) on May 10 at 21:00 on the documentary network.

This documentary, using less-seen archival images and interviews with well-known figures of Iranian music and art such as Majid Kiyani, Hossein Alizadeh, Sediq Tafifir, Arshad Tahmasabi, Ardeshir Kamkar, and Ghazas Kamkar, etc., examines the life and works of the late master “Mohammed Reza” Lotfi” has paid.

In the documentary “Tar Hem No More Lutfi Dahidi” the career of Qalandar, the Iranian musician, from the beginning of the establishment of the Shida group to after the revolution is analyzed and analyzed.

Mohammad Reza Lotfi (December 17, 1325 – May 12, 2014) made his way among the masses of people by creating works such as “Iran O Sarai Omid”, “Caravan Martyr”, “Barder Beyare” and “Love Knows”.

Lotfi was the founder of Chavosh cultural and artistic center, Shida Group and Mirza Abdullah School and he trained many artists including Majid Derakhshani, Sediq Tafifi, Hamid Motabsem and Hossein Behrouzinia. He also played fiddle, tambourine, reed, and centaur, along with strings and tristrings, and was the head of Tehran University’s fine arts campus for two years.

He had the experience of collaborating with singers such as Taj Esfahani, Gholamhossein Banan, Mohammad Reza Shajarian and Shahram Nazeri, and he introduced singers such as Sediq Tafifi, Mohammad Golriz, Mohammad Motamedi, Alireza Shahmohammadi and Amir Ezhaniashri to the music community for the first time.

This documentary is produced by Documentary Network and Behrouz Razavi Govindegi and Wahabuddin Mohammadi are in charge of editing it. Reza Mahdavi was also present in this project as an expert and writer of the program.

On the occasion of the death of Mohammad Reza Lotfi, one of the influential figures of Iranian music, “Tar Hem No More Lotfi” has been included in the broadcast schedule of the documentary network and will be broadcast tonight at 21:00 and Monday, May 11 at 9:00.
