How many more years does Russia have gas?

Russia’s Gazprom has said that its gas reserves will meet the country’s needs for the next 100 years, and that some of its gas fields could even produce gas by 2132.

Speaking at the International Trade Congress, Alexei Miller, CEO of Gazprom, said that Russia’s gas reserves are the world’s largest gas reserves and will have no problem supplying gas for the next 100 years.

“Gazprom is the largest gas company in the world that respects environmental issues and intends to continue to do so,” Miller said.

According to him, Gazprom’s surplus production capacity is so large that it can produce up to 150 billion cubic meters of gas.

“Russia’s ability to respond to rising gas demand is one of its competitive advantages,” he said.

“China currently has the fastest growing demand for gas in Asia-Pacific,” Miller said.

He said: “In the first six months of this year, we saw that gas consumption by China increased by 15.5 percent compared to the same period last year, and the country has increased its gas imports by 23.8 percent.
