How Much Money Does a Broker Make? – Trade News

According to Tejarat News, according to the calculations made, the stock exchange giants consisting of 10 large stock exchange brokerages, by which about half of the value of sales and purchases are done by them, earned about 3700 billion Tomans last year.
The figures published in the financial statements of a capital market brokerage have made headlines in recent days. In the financial statements of the brokerage for the 12 months ending September 20, this year, the net profit decreased by more than 31% compared to the same period last year, reaching more than 1641 billion tomans.
Also, this brokerage has earned more than 3100 billion Tomans from commissions and fees in the mentioned period. All this while the mentioned period was related to the period of fall and recession of the stock market after the peak of two million units.
However, given that there are currently more than 100 stockbrokers in the country and the brokerage is one of the most profitable of these brokerages, the question arises that the figures of the stockbroking industry revolves around what figures? Until last year, the establishment of a brokerage brokerage was monopolized, and after that, in September of this year, by accepting a brokerage, the spell of not entering new brokerages into this field after 12 years was practically broken.
Data published in this field on the Central Bank’s website show that last year, the total value of capital market transactions reached more than 2449 billion tomans. With this account and by considering the commission coefficient of brokerages, the income of this industry can be estimated.
In this regard, the cap table of rates of commissions and services in the capital market in versions 43 and 44 (corresponding to August and January of last year), shows that the commission of each brokerage from buying or selling shares is set at 0.00304 (304 per hundred thousand). Therefore, by multiplying the value of transactions by the brokerage commission rate, income of at least 7.4 thousand billion Tomans is obtained for the entire industry.
On the other hand, the report of Bourse 24 regarding the ranking of stock brokers in July of this year shows that about half of the total buying and selling of brokerage shares during this period has been done by 10 large brokerages. As a result, it can be estimated that the income of 10 brokerages according to the above assumptions last year was about 3.7 thousand billion tomans and the income of each of these 10 brokerages from the commission was an average of 370 billion tomans.
