How is the profit of equity non-stock companies deposited?
In response to the question of how the profits of the 13 non-stock companies in the Adalat portfolio are received and paid to the beneficiaries, Mahmoud Qamat, the deputy of the Privatization Organization, said: We also received the profits of the non-stock companies of the Adalat stock and distributed them to the shareholders through the Central Depository Company and the Sejam system. and beneficiaries, and there is no difference between listed and non-listed companies in the field of receiving the profits of equity capitalized companies.
He said: The profits of equity non-stock companies are received using the approval of the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange, of course, some equity capital companies spend part of their profits to increase the company’s capital, and in return, we receive them in the form of bonus shares or preemptive rights. Beneficiaries pay for equity shareholders, whether cash interest or pre-emptive rights and bonus shares are also received and deposited into the beneficiaries’ account.
Qamat also said: We have received the profits of non-stock equity companies from previous years and paid them to the shareholders in one lump sum through the central depository company, and all the collected profits, whether from listed or non-stock companies, are through the central depository and the Sejam system. It is deposited into the account of the beneficiaries of equity shares.
The deputy of the privatization organization stated: the collected profits are collected in one place and are deposited in a centralized manner through Sejam’s share capital.
Qamat also said about the allocation of equity shares to survivors: the cabinet should determine the transferable portfolio of its surplus shares for transfer in the form of equity shares, and the executive mechanism of granting shares through the executive council of Article 44 should be determined, which still has no instructions. The privatization organization has not been notified to allocate shares to the survivors.
