Of the 289 thousand 956 facilities that were paid to the units of the National Housing Movement by the bank operating the housing sector, 110 thousand 600 units were self-owned. Also, out of the four million housing units that the 13th government has committed to build, 1,800,000 units will be built on government land for 99 years, 800,000 residential units will be built in villages, 800,000 self-owned residential units and 600,000 units will be built in dilapidated structures.

Surveys show that due to the ease of housing construction in self-owned units, the implementation process of these projects is more favorable compared to 99-year projects; Because the 99-year plans have encountered obstacles, the most important of which is the non-agreement of the private sector builders with the set amounts and the delay in announcing seasonal adjustments in the contracts of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.

Another important challenge is related to the lack of cooperation of other banks except Maskan Bank in financing the projects of the National Housing Movement. Although the government has required 20 private banks to pay the 550 million tomans self-ownership facility of the National Housing Movement, the performance of other state banks in this sector is not satisfactory.

Registration for self-ownership loans is done through the system of comprehensive housing support plans at saman.mrud.ir. After entering the site, applicants should choose the housing application option. To register, people must upload the images of a valid single-page document and building permit. After completing the project information, the applicant should select the bank and branch in the last step and then go to the desired bank to file the case.

During the two years of the implementation of the National Housing Movement project from October 1400 until now, government officials and members of parliament have always appreciated the performance of Housing Bank as the only sponsor of this project.

In August of this year, Seyed Ibrahim Raisi, President of the Supreme Council of Housing, thanked for the good performance of the Housing Bank in paying the facilities of the National Housing Movement Plan and called for more efforts and participation of other banks to speed up the implementation of this national plan.

Housing Bank has also performed well in the development of new cities and coastal cities; So that a few days ago, Mehdi Dosti – Governor of Hormozgan announced: Housing Bank was the first group that agreed to the Supreme Leader’s menu in the field of developing new coastal cities in Labik.
