How to hide your name from some users in WhatsApp?

In addition, WhatsApp offers several hidden features, but many users are unaware of their existence. One of them is the ability to hide your name from some users. WhatsApp does not officially allow its users to leave their names blank. However, there is a way to help users hide their name and identity from strangers.
How to use this method in Android
- Open WhatsApp and go to Settings by tapping the three dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Copy the two symbols in parentheses (⇒,).
- Tap the font icon in front of your name and enter these two symbols right where your current name is.
- Then, delete the icon (⇒) and press the OK button to change your name.
- When done, your WhatsApp name will be displayed blank.
Note that if someone has saved your phone number with your name, they will see your name on the chat page. This method only works for anonymous numbers. If you do not want your name to be completely blank on WhatsApp, you can simply put a semicolon in the name field so that everyone can see your name that way.
