According to this law, the government is obliged to allocate an amount of one million tomans up to an annual limit of 10,000 billion rials for each child born in the beginning of 1400, solely for the purchase of units of exchange-traded investment funds in the name of the child. This figure for the year 1401 was set at one and a half million tomans for each child born. For the following years, figures must be determined and provided credit in the budget law for 7 years.
Registration of infant equity shares
The first step for the implementation of this law is the allocation of equity shares to babies born in 1401 onwards. According to the Minister of Economy, parents of babies born in the first quarter of 1401 can refer to the national smart government portal at my.gov.ir starting today, May 4th.
By referring to this system, a unique code is sent to the account number of the head of the household, and parents can use this unique code to enter the field of parenting services and consultations. The names of all those born in 1401 are in this section, and parents can register their baby’s equity through this.
How to register infant equity shares

Who can apply for registration?
Equity includes all babies born from 1401 onwards. But in order not to apply all at once, for now, only babies who were born in the first quarter of 1401 can be registered.
According to Note 1 of this article, the annual inflation rate announced by Iran Statistics Center is added to the amount mentioned in this article every year. Also, according to note two of this article, the manager is only allowed to move between units of the investment funds that are the subject of this article. Withdrawal of financial resources resulting from the sale of investment fund units is allowed only after marriage or in case of unmarriage after twenty-four years of age.
