According to Fars news agency, Ali Akbar Sultanali, the actor and singer of the series “Mokhtarnameh”, last night while appearing on “Shab Neshani” program, said: I started my career with theater and after that I got to cinema and television. I also work in the music sector, where I spend more time than acting.

Sultan Ali continued: Playing the role of Rostam in Mokhtarnameh series was a very good and interesting experience. I had not done Ta’zia work before Mukhtarnameh, but since I was familiar with music and theater, I was able to get a good connection with Naqsh Rustam.

He added: “Rostam’s role was very two-sided because at first he showed himself to be a fool, but inside he was like a devil that no one could compete with.” Rostam proceeded with such deception until Gholam Mukhtar found out, but unfortunately it was already too late. Rostam managed to escape by killing Ghulam Mukhtar.

He stated: Since Mr. Mirbagheri was familiar with my musical style, they asked me to prepare the music for Mokhtarnameh series, and I also prepared that music simply and with my own style.

The actor and singer said: The music chosen for Mukhtarnameh was of the southern plains type, which is very consistent with the atmosphere of the series. It has its burning and sad style and that is why it was so popular.

Sultan Ali stated: I am very interested in directing and I also prepared some short films, so if I wanted to choose between music, acting and directing; I was considering directing. Directing gives me a great feeling because of creating the work and makes me very interested in it.

He added: In life, one should always be on the move and try, because without it, one cannot make sufficient progress. I started working in the theater from the Shahrood Cinema Association and reached my current position with a lot of effort. Since art has no end, I always try to move forward and continue. I loved my role in Mukhtarnameh very much and I did not consider any other role to play it.
