Homayoun Essadian, the producer and director of the “Twilight Moment” TV series, said in a conversation with “Grama Film” program of iFilm channel about the opening credits of this series: “Basically, a mentality” Asadian: I didn’t have the mentality to make the opening title music of the series that can be presented to the audience in the form of a work with words. But when we reached the stage of assembling the series, my mind got involved in the issue that if I can find a good songwriter, I can do something with this song to make the opening credits of the film. In order to make music, I did not have the opening credits of the series that could be presented to the audience in the form of a work with words. But when we reached the assembly stage of the series and Ebrahim Haghighi composed the title track, I was obsessed with the idea that if I could find a good songwriter, I could use this song to create the opening title music of the work.

He continued: One day, Mehdi Azarpandar (the then director of the film and series group of the 3rd channel of Sima) asked me if I had music with words for the end credits of my series. To which I replied: Yes. He asked again what about the opening credits? In response, I said: “I’m looking for it, but I haven’t found anything yet.” Azarpandar handed me three music files and suggested that I listen to these three pieces of music.

Continuing his explanation, Asadian said: I came to the studio and listened to these three singles sung by Mohammad Motamedi. Works that had not yet been published in the music market and were related to an album whose producer wanted to be presented to the audience in serial music before entering the market. The first piece that I heard, I saw that it did not attract my attention as much as it should have; But when I listened to the second track (Now that you are going), I saw that they made this piece for our series.

The director of the “Twilight Moment” series added: I immediately went to the editing room and asked the children to put this file on one of the sequences I wanted. When this happened, everyone assumed that I had cheated on them to this day that I didn’t have the music for this scene. Because the content of the piece was exactly the same and coincidentally the original genre of music for which I wanted the sequence.

In the continuation of this conversation, he explained: After some time, I decided to choose this music as the opening credits of the work. Accordingly, I called Mehdi Azarpandar and said that the second piece is very suitable for the title track. In this way, I called Mohammad Motamedi and invited him to my office. After I shared the story with him, we requested that in addition to the permission to use this music in the opening credits, he should be present as the singer of the middle parts of the series as well as the music of the end credits.

Asadian emphasized: What was in the music of the piece “Hala Ke Merei” included features that it was really a pity to use it for a sequence. That’s why I decided to use this piece for the opening credits, which can be heard continuously by the audience in 50 episodes, and in a way, it will become the tableau of the “Twilight Moment” series. Because it is a romantic description that brings back many memories in us. The important thing is that I was not looking for a beautiful song that has nothing to do with the story of the series, and it was because of these obsessions that until the production and broadcast of this series, I had no desire to use the opening and ending credits music. But I am always interested in using songs with words in the text of my serials and movies that can be identified with the audience.

In another part of this video interview, this well-known director of cinema and television said about the opening credits music: Before making the opening credits music, I had thoughts on the end credits music of the series and the same thoughts that Farhad and I had Asadian was formed, it was decided to give the piece related to Artosh with rereading and new arrangement to Mohammad Motamedi to reread it. Because he was one of the singers who had performed valuable activities in the field of pop music.

Farhad Asadian, the composer of the “Twilight Moment” series, also explained about the end credits music of the work, which is based on an old song sung by the late Artosh and a new arrangement with the voice of Mohammad Motamedi. It starts when, in a part of the series, Hamed’s character gives Yasman a tape that contained a song by the late Artosh. When Yasman records this piece, the song plays. This feeling of the story of the film leads to Homayoun Asadian’s desire to use this piece as the end credits.

He added, “Naturally, the music of the series was such that this piece sung by Artosh had to be re-arranged by a new singer, but considering that the pieces related to the opening credits music as well as the middle singles of the series were recorded with the voice of Mohammad Motamedi I believe that he is a very good and capable singer, and we decided to sing this song again and be introduced as the end credits singer of the series. The only work that remained was the musical arrangement of the work for the string orchestra, which my assistant Amir Mohammad Nazar did very tastefully.
