HP unveils new Elitebooks with Ryzen Pro 6000 processor


HP has announced the redesign of its Elitebook 805 series laptops, these new models will be available with the Raizen Pro 6000 processor, a long screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. HP also unveiled the Elitebook 605 series of laptops that will come with a more conventional processor and display. Elitebook 805 G9 series laptops will be available in three versions this year: 835, 845 and 865. The middle numbers of these models refer to the size of their screens and include 13.3, 14 and 16 inches, respectively.

This series of laptops come in different and selectable hardware specifications. Regardless of the display options, there are two configurations, the first being the 13-inch model that comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, while the 845 and 865 models support up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM. It is worth noting that for the larger models in this series, HP provides the customer with access to customized upgrades, while the 835 model will not support this mode.

The second config is the choice of CPU. While the latest HP laptops come with the latest AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 series multi-core processors, no further details on their processor have been released. All models in this series support Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, PCIe Gen4x4 and SSDs with a maximum capacity of 2 terabytes.

This series of laptops support a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200. Input and output ports also look good on these devices. Two USB-A 3.1 G1 ports, USB4 Type-C, an HDMI 2.0 port, a common microphone and headphone jack, a nano SIM card and an optional LTE modem are other specifications of these digital products. Battery size varies from 38, 51 and 76 watts per hour depending on the size and configuration of the laptop, but HP says the new processor delivers significant battery life and performance.

HP also unveiled two other models, the Elitebook 645 and 655. This series of products is probably weaker in terms of hardware than the 805 series. This series uses two special electrical plugs for charging, also ordering USB-C will be optional. The 600 Series Elitbooks are only available with 14- and 15.6-inch screens, and they support 16: 9 aspect ratio.

This series of devices supports 1080p resolution. Like the 800 Series, there are a number of suitable ports, including a Thunderbolt 4 / USB4, HDMI, ethernet, three first-generation USB-A 3.1 ports, and a common port for headphones and microphones. Both the 645 and 655 support up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. Finally, there is the ability to additionally configure the third generation NVMe SSD with the original Gen4x4 SSDs of the device.

The LG Elitebook G9 Series 6 will be unveiled at a press conference later this month, but the Elitebook 805 G9s will be available in April. HP stated that it will announce the final price of the products near the time of release.
