Huawei has unveiled a new series of MateBook laptops
Chinese company Huawei unveiled four new MateBook laptops at a special online event. All of these products come with 12th generation Intel processors, 16GB of RAM and at least 512GB of internal storage. Stay tuned to Lyon Tak.
Huawei has been able to capture a large share of the laptop market over the years with the evolution of the MateBook family. In the latest update, the company, in cooperation with Intel, has used the company’s 12th generation processors with the aim of achieving the highest performance in its products.
Huawei has unveiled a new series of MateBook laptops
The MateBook 16s is considered to be the best product among the four introduced models. This model has a 16-inch IPS touch screen with 3: 2 aspect ratio, 1680 x 2520 pixels resolution, 300 nits brightness and 5000: 1 contrast.
One of the great things about the MateBook 16s is that it supports Intel’s latest processors. Customers can choose from 5 available models including 12 to 14 core processors (from Core i5 to Core i9). Also, Huawei has jointly used the Intel Iris Xe GPU for these products, and there is no separate graphics card.
The new Huawei laptop offers a total of two storage options, including 512GB and 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD with 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, respectively. The responsibility for powering this laptop will be provided by an 84-watt-hour battery with the ability to support a 135-watt charger. The MateBook 16s will be priced at $ 1049.50, $ 1199.50 and $ 1499.42 for the i5, i7 and i9, respectively.
Meet the MateBook D16
Like its bigger brother, it supports a 16-inch display, but its aspect ratio is 16:10. Other specifications of the MateBook D16 laptop include 1080p resolution, 300 nits brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut coverage and 1200: 1 contrast. Also, unlike the 16s, this model does not have a touch screen.
The MateBook D16 will be available in Core i7 12700H and Core i5 12500H with Iris Xe GPU, 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of NVMe PCIe SSD. Also, the model is equipped with a 60 watt hour battery and a 65 watt charger.
The laptop will be available at $ 855 (for the i5) and $ 1,050 (for the i7) at launch.
Technical specifications and price of MateBook 14 2022 laptop
The next member of this family belongs to the MateBook 14 2022 laptop. As the name suggests, the laptop is equipped with a 14-inch display with a 3: 2 aspect ratio, 1400p resolution, 300 nits brightness and 1500: 1 contrast.
In this section, customers can choose between two main configurations, including the Core i5 and i7 processors. Other general specifications of the Huawei 14-inch laptop include 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, Iris Xe graphics processor, 512 GB of NVMe SSD, 56 watt-hour battery (with 65 watt charge). The MateBook 14 2022 will be available for $ 915 and $ 1,050, respectively.
Laptop MateBook D14 2022
The last new member of the MateBook is nothing but the MateBook D14 2022. This product is also equipped with a 14-inch display, 16: 9 aspect ratio with 1080p resolution, 1000: 1 contrast ratio and 100% coverage of the sRGB color spectrum.
The processor, RAM, storage, battery capacity and supported charging are exactly the same as the MateBook 14 2022, which we explained in detail above. Finally, the MateBook D14 2022 starts at $ 795 for the i5 and goes up to $ 900 (i7).
MateView SE monitor
In addition to these products, the Chinese giant unveiled its latest 23.8-inch monitor called MateView SE, which includes IPS panel with Full HD resolution, 250 nits brightness, 1000: 1 contrast ratio and 100% coverage of the color spectrum. sRGB noted. The maximum update rate supported in this model is 75 Hz and it is possible to rotate 18 degrees and change the size of the monitor stand (up to 110 mm).
