Huawei MateBook B series laptops with TPM 2.0 chip were introduced

Huawei has just unveiled the MateBook B series laptops. These laptops are equipped with a TPM 2.0 security chip, which means that they will not have any problems installing Windows 11. Huawei’s new laptops will be available in a variety of price ranges with a variety of configurations from basic to high-end.

TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is a computer chip (microcontroller) that can securely store the identifying elements of platforms such as computers and laptops.

Specifications of B7

The upscale member of the family enjoys a 13.9-inch LTPS display with 3K resolution and 100% sRGB color space coverage. The screen-to-body ratio of this laptop is 91%.

The B7 uses an 11th generation Intel core i7 processor, and the chip comes with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM with Intel Iris X graphics. Huawei has included a 56-watt-hour battery and will launch the B7 with 512GB of PCIe SSD memory. The notebook also supports WLAN and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity.

Specifications of B5

The mid-priced laptop features a 14-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, 300 nits brightness and 100% coverage of sRGB color space. The B5 processor is at the top of Intel’s 11th generation Core i7 and uses the TPM 2.0 chipset for added security. The graphics of this device are Nvidia GeForce MX350 with 2 GB of DDR5 RAM.

Huawei has included a maximum of 16 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 512 GB of PCIe SSD memory for the MateBook D5. The battery capacity of this device is 56 watts and it uses Bluetooth 5.0 connections, 3.5 mm headphone jack, WiFi, USB A3.0, USB A2.0 and Mini RJ45 port along with HDMI.

Specifications of B3

B3 Series laptops have two members B3-410 and B3-510. The 410 has a 14-inch display and the 510 has a 15.6-inch display. Both have 1080p resolution and 250 nits brightness. The B3-510 has a 56 watt hour battery and the other version is equipped with a 42 watt hour battery.

These two notebooks will come with 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The SSD version 510 will have a capacity of 256 GB and the 410 version will come with 512 GB. Both laptops have the highest version of Intel’s 11th generation Core i7 processor and TPM 2.0 chip.
